World Mental Health Day

Yesterday, October 10 2017, was World Mental Health Day.   One in four adults and one in ten children are likely to have a mental health problem in any given year. This can have a profound impact on the lives of tens of millions of people and families in the UK, and can affect their ability to sustain relationships, work, or just get through the day. Working with Neglect in Bolton

In the last week Bolton Safeguarding Children Board has published it’s local Neglect Strategy. The impact of persistent neglect cannot be underestimated. It is well documented that children who are neglected over a long period of time will have their physical and emotional development restricted.
