Are you interested in making a difference to children’s lives in Bolton?
Do you have a commitment to improving the way local organisations and communities work together to keep children safe?
Bolton Safeguarding Children Board is looking for an enthusiastic and committed member of the local community to join its membership.
Safeguarding Children Boards were established in April 2006 and are statutory partnerships made up of local organisations such as the Police, the Council, Health Services, Schools, Probations, the Voluntary and Faith Sector. In addition to this, Boards are required to ensure there are two lay members. Lay members are a vital part of the Boards membership as they support the Board to make links to the community on safety and welfare issues affecting children and offer additional challenge and scrutiny.
Bolton Safeguarding Children Board is currently seeking to recruit one lay member. An application pack outlining the lay member roles and responsibilities, as well as the recruitment process is available by contacting Shona Green, Safeguarding Board Officer, Bolton Safeguarding Children Board, 3rd Floor Paderborn House, Civic Centre, Bolton BL1 1UA, 01204 337964 or by linking here
If you are interested in taking up this exciting opportunity then please forward your expression of interest no later than 5pm, Monday 22 June 2015.
