Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND) – Bolton Local Offer

From September 2014, as part of the SEND reforms, each local authority in England was required to publish a ‘Local Offer’ for children and young people aged 0 to 25 years who have a special educational need or disability.  The purpose of the Local Offer is to provide a single point for information to help families’ access details about services available to them. Bolton’s local offer can be found by clicking – Local Offer

The Local Offer includes guidance for parents when they need to speak with practitioners and professionals as well as information on giving feedback, raising concerns and making complaints.

For more information about the SEND reforms and other useful information, take a look at the SEN section of the Bolton Council website.
